SAT Exam & SAT Subject Tests

SCAD-logoSAT: The SAT exam is one of two exams that fulfill the U.S. university admissions criteria; the other is the ACT. The SAT exam is 4 hours in length and is administered several times per year in Canada. Students must sign up directly with CollegeBoard.org for the exam.

SAT SUBJECT TESTS: In addition to the SAT, some universities may require two SAT Subject Tests.  These are offered in a number of subject areas (see the College Board website for dates and details). Each SAT Subject Test takes one hour and only 3 can be taken in one sitting.  There is a penalty for guessing the wrong answer.

We offer SAT Subject Test Workshops for the SAT Math I/II and for the SAT Subject Test in Physics several times per year. Contact us for more details.

SAT and SAT Subject Tests cannot be taken on the same day. Students must pre-register to take the exam at a number of designated test centers in the Greater Vancouver Area. It is recommended that you sign up two months or more in advance as the test centers can get booked quickly. Official results of your exams must be sent directly to your universities by CollegeBoard.org.

Students who are undecided about whether to take the SAT or ACT exam are encouraged to take our SAT/ACT Diagnostic  which will determine which of the two tests they are best suited for.

We can meet all of your SAT Prep needs through the SAT Prep courses and workshops that we offer.
